A statement issued by the Sisters Keepers Association and signed by the Head of Communication, Abena Opokua also, court the attention of the public to the fact that many elderly persons suffer Alzheimer’s/Dementia which is a medical condition that must not be misunderstood to be witchcraft.

“Alzheimer’s/Dementia is in a condition among the elderly therefore the need to have enough knowledge about this disease to inform our relationship with them in these times.

Sisters Keepers Association would want to assure the general public that we have taken a keen interest in this issue and will pursue it till the actors involved are brought to book to serve as a deterrent to others. Let’s show more love for the elderly. Old age is not a crime.”
